In over 35 cities in the U.S., and recently in Mexico and the Caribbean, Medimetrix has helped safety net providers, managed care organizations, governments and many others create access to care and improve community health status.
Our recent projects include:
- Developing several multi-media community education campaigns on the topic of reproductive health and enrollment in government-sponsored and provider-sponsored health insurance options
- Serving as the National Program Office and providing technical assistance to twenty communities under The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Communities in Charge project on topics of strategic program design, financing, administrative infrastructure development, outreach and education to support improved access to care for uninsured and underinsured persons
- Creating the outreach and education mechanisms and marketing media for enrolling tens of thousands of participants in numerous access to care and coverage programs addressing low income adults and children
- Helping several regional and large urban safety net providers
understand their strategic challenges, develop game plans and improve their financial performance
- Procuring several million dollars in grant funding on behalf of clients to be used to create innovative outreach and service delivery programs
- Evaluating the feasibility of a trans-border health insurance plan for Mexican nationals who are living and working in the United States
- Translating concepts for health care coverage expansions for children into operational programs that provide health insurance for over 175,000 children
- Designing and implementing a successful health insurance purchasing organization for small businesses
